Thank you for the comments on my Damask. I’m glad its done. Kinda bummed it doesn’t fit overly well. I’m going to try a nice rigorous blocking after a good hot soak. Though not overly hopeful due to the stranded nature of the knit. The alternative is to put it away and wait for little miss to get bigger. Its swimming on her now.
One of the nice things about having returned to the consulting gig in NJ is that I have the flexibility to work from home for a majority of the week. My manager there is totally awesome. She doesn’t care where we are as long as the work is getting done. And yes, I’m getting my work done, thank you. With the bonus of having something productive I can do while waiting for the slow arsed systems to return data (which I’m doing now btw). The last day or so, I rediscovered the spindle sitting on my desk. While I’d rather be working on this…(which is in my peripheral vision as I type)
I’m making do with this
Okay, so its better than “making do”. That’s my little Golding Tsunami .75oz cherry with a super yummy merino/silk/angora blend that I bought at Rhinebeck this year.
Confession time, I might have added another wheel to the herd. I “might” be arriving tomorrow
Craft on!

New wheel, huh? Why am I not surprised?
