I do indeed still knit! I finished that lovely ITW “Return to Warmth” merino on the Canadian Production Wheel (which has totally spoiled me). It turned into a skein of yummy yarn measuring 538 yards and weighing in at 98 grams. Three ply.
I know. I’m kind of impressed myself.
I almost immediately broke out the ball winder and made to knit with it. I started the first sock last Wednesday evening. I just grafted the toe closed using a method I read about here. I have to admit, I kind of liked this method!
You can see my purty new Stitched by JessaLu bag. I got it this weekend at Tina’s shindig upstate.
This is going to be a short post. Rough day at work. I’m off to start the second sock.
Craft on!

Love the handspun sock and lucky you to get the raspberry bag. The lining with the bees and honeycomb is awesome. I’ll have to put that on my wishlist.

What could be more pleasing than a handspun and knit socks to wash away a rough day at work. I need one of those project bags too.

I am sooo jealous of your wheel! Well, I’m jealous of your loom too, but I don’t have room for that.
Once I’m gainfully employed again, I’m going to get me a wheel. That’s a plain fact.

I was just looking at this yarn again and I have to say it’s very noro-ish in its undulating color change-ups.
I’m really loving it.
