My life has always been busy. ¬†I’ve never been able to sit still and do nothing, which is why I have all these hobbies which allow me to sit, if not always still. ¬† But goodness, parenthood has given the “never dull” a whole new flavor! ¬†It is honestly never dull.

We were taking advantage of the summer preview yesterday. ¬†The twins were performing one of those rites of childhood, playing in a sprinkler. ¬†They apparently weren’t paying attention to who was running where. ¬†I heard the crack from across the yard as forehead met eye. ¬†Four hours in the emergency room for a shiner. ¬†But I wanted to err on the side of caution. ¬†I now know what to look for before running off to the emergency room. ¬†On the upside, got to spend a lot of time with Kat yesterday 😉
Never dull.
She’s fine. ¬†Eye was swollen shut this morning and it is even more colorful.¬†
