..or is that Red Sox Nation?¬† Socks or Sox?¬† Actually, got both going now.¬† On the TV, we’ve got the Sox:
And while watching those Sox, I’m knitting these Socks:
I’m doing my part for the team. Only knitting red socks while watching the Red Sox for the remainder of the season.¬† The least I can do.¬† The yarn is mmmmMalabrigo Sock in Tiziano Red.¬† YUM.¬† I’m ready to trade the stash for more of this stuff.¬† Worth the wait for sure.¬† The pattern is one I’ve done before:¬† Cable Rib Socks by Erica Alexander which appeared in the Spring 2005 IK.¬† Now to dig out the rest of my red yarn

I’m working from home today.¬† Had a dentist appointment this morning to finish up the replacement of my old amalgam fillings with newer material.¬† I had two fillings, last two upper teeth on the left.¬† No novocaine in the jaw joint!!¬† Half of my upper lip and all the way to the lower eyelid is numb, but that will go away, hopefully by dinner
Time to get some work done.

I let my son watch my dentist inject me with Novocaine last time I needed a filling done – I didn’t flinch during the pinch and he said, what else, “Cool Mom! Can I get something from the Dr.’s toybox now?”

Malabrigo sock yarn!!!! Me want some. I totally did not connect Red Socks Nation with baseball and the red sox. Duhhhhh. I like your Red Socks but not the red sox.
