I like Yarn Place yarn, but one can’t trust the ballbands. Be sure to check the website for corrections to the label (eyeroll) and weigh your balls.

I got in my car at lunch yesterday and it said 109! Of course, some of that is parking-lot-heat, but still. You already know how I feel about hot weather…

Oh, and quilting? I’d rather hand-piece than machine-piece anyday, and besides, I like a hobby I can relax with. Sitting bolt upright on a chair in front of a sewing machine is pleasantly productive, but NOT the same as sitting in a comfy chair!

Yeah to quilting. I am finishing up a fourth baby quilt in as many months and am looking forward to a break.

The dusty rose yarn looks yummy…although little comfort in this gawdawful humidity.
