Sigh. Figures. I finally sat down to write a nice posting and when I was one photo and link short of finishing the damn thing, I fumbled the tab and accidentally closed the window. Damn. Oh well, as it is now later (I was at the beloved SnB at Modern Yarn tonight) I’ll have to make it a quickie as the 6AM alarm is getting closer every minute. Heading to a yarn store has made the Summer of Stash impossible. Tonight this pretty yarn followed me home. Blue Sky Alpaca Silk in a slate blue destined to be the Diamond Fantasy Shawl.

I started the twin’s fall sweaters. They’re getting Fana from Dale of Norway. Alex’s sweater will be navy/white in Checkheaton Country. The Rowan Wool Cotton that I purchased for it initially last week at MY didn’t work. So Saturday I headed out and picked up the Country. Nice yarn that is working up well and exactly on gauge. I have a couple of yarns on order to try for Kat’s including the new Telemark from KnitPicks. It hasn’t arrived yet, but should be here soon.
I’m starting to drift here. My apologies. Hopefully I can update again soon.
Craft on.

Great color for the shawl! I fondled the Telemark last week..great stitch definition, good wearability.
