I’m looking to buy a new sewing machine and I’ve been researching this model. I see you’ve had yours for a couple of years now. Would you still recommend it to a beginner sewer?

Wow – two wonderful gifts! Congratulations on the Suzie and the sewing machine. I love spinning on my Rose – I tried out a few before settling on that one. Plus I love how it looks. Haven’t used my sewing machine in a while but I am thinking about getting back into quilting. Have a lot of material in my stash!!

Well, that’s a happy belated birthday, isn’t it?? Congrats on the new machine! (I’m trying not to think of my poor, old sewing machine–it was new for my birthday about–gulp–23 years ago. Very basic Kenmore model, but considering how often it gets out from the corner . . . !)

Now that you sew how about art dolls? Well anyway there’s a great quyilt pattern called hidden wells by maryellen Hopkins that’s so easy and quick and look so complicated you’ll amaze all your family and friends. it’s wonderful in flannel just make the seem allowence bigger because flannel shreads. What an excellent birthday present! With little ones, especially, you need a good machine. Just wish the machines around here were in good working order… I’ll have to spend a day in frustration oiling, etc….
