While this should have been posted yesterday, I generally don’t do Sunday posts and was just too darn busy to do one. So please pretend that today is October 9th and not the 10th. You’ll see in a moment why….
In two short years, we’ve gone from this:
Two tiny little people were born in the wee hours of October 9th. Kathryn came into this world weighing in at 4lbs 8.4oz. Alex was a bit larger at 5lbs 13.4 oz. Both went to the NICU with respiratory issues. They each spent some time on CPAP. Alex got the cool shades and spent some time under the billy light. All in all, after a week, they came home. It seems like yesterday. In a blink of an eye, they’ve grown…
They constantly amaze me with how fast they are growing, how smart they are, and how very sweet they can be. They also tire the heck out of me. I love them dearly.
Happy birthday my very special babies.
Craft stuff will return tomorrow.

Very Happy Birthday Kat and Alex. Risa, don’t blink, don’t turn your head and don’t close your eyes for a moment or you’ll be posting their wedding photos and wondering where it all went. It seems to last forever when they are less than 3 feet tall…but it’s only a fleeting second.

Happy Birthday to your beautiful Kat and Alex, Risa. They’re beautiful like you, and you’re only starting with the wonderment that is motherhood. Elaine is right, it goes by so very quickly, well maybe except the difficult teenage years (lol). Enjoy them.

I dunno, they look like huge little babies to me, but then my scale of comparison is a little skewed with micropreemieboy LOL.

Happy B’day Kat and Alex! Enjoy this time with them Risa. Before you know it they will be in school and not needing help from mom anymore. Remember – right now you are #1 in their lives….take a minute for yourself.

Watch out, if you think the first 2 years go by fast, the next 14 go by even faster, then unfortunately the next 11 go by faster than that! I still can’t figure out who it was that said they have to grow up so fast… A belated birthday to your 2 2s. Jodi/NC

It’s amazing how quickly time flies isn’t it? They’re beautiful and I love hearing all the stories of what sorts of things they’re getting into now! Happy birthday kids!

Happy Birthday to those monkeys! Like everyone else is saying: time just gets faster and faster as the kids grow. How did it happen that all of a sudden my “baby”,our third child, is now a senior in high school? Can’t be! Cherish their antics, enjoy your time with them, every single step!

Happy Second Birthday to the twins! The time does fly by.
You’ll be posting Kindergarten photos in no time. Trust me, I know. I often wonder how mine got to be 4 and 7. It has happened in the blink of an eye.
Enjoy this time. It goes by all too quickly.
